A tank for a water-treatment device, comprising an internal coating , a hollow insert (10), with a collar (14) projecting externally from the coating , and an external covering , which is created by wrapping a bundle of glass fibre buried in a polymeric matrix around the coating. The covering comprises a portion of covering (50), which covers the collar (14), at least partially, reinforcing the connection between the insert (10) and the coating. The tank is made by blowing or using a rotational press and subsequently wrapping the bundle of fibre buried in the matrix to make the covering and the portion of covering (50).
