<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To present a method for manufacturing microcapsules having a tight and sufficient including ability without leakage of core substances and provide a recording material, especially a thermal recording material, having excellent raw shelf life and excellent whiteness of a substrate. <P>SOLUTION: The method has a process of emulsion-dispersing a solution of a capsule wall material in a water-phase medium, a process of emulsion-dispersing an oil-phase solution containing at least one of compounds of formula (I) and specified diazonium salts in a primary emulsion dispersion and a process of forming capsule walls in the interface of secondary emulsion-dispersed particles. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
