<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily capture at least a part of costs related to an examination or treatment. <P>SOLUTION: In a medical examination and/or treatment apparatus (1, 3) configured to implement at least one of patient examination and/or patient treatment or following processing of examination information and/or treatment information and mechanical activities related to different patients inside a frame of documentation, particularly, at least one of imaging, image evaluation and image storage, the medical examination and/or treatment apparatus (1, 3) is configured to display the start and end of an activity capable of settling costs for a third person and to automatically detect the start and end of the activity based on a trigger signal obtained from a mechanical activity start and end detection device (5), to determine costs specific to the activity based on cost information for the mechanical activity stored in a storage device (7) after the detection of the activity end, and to display the costs on a monitor (4). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
