<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the cost of an image forming device equipped with a face up tray and a face down tray. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming device comprises a face down discharge member (28) discharging the sheet to the face down tray, a face up discharge member (51) discharging the sheet to the face up tray (TRh2), a face down carrying path (61) carrying the sheet to the face down tray (TRh1), a face up carrying path (62) carrying the sheet to the face up tray (TRh2), and a tray switching gate (54) carrying the sheet carried in the common carrying path (63) by switching the face down carrying path (61) or the face up carrying path (62).
