PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a liquid refrigerant from flowing into a compressor by absorbing excessive refrigerant when refrigerant circulation in a refrigerant circuit is switched. SOLUTION: The adsorption and desorption of moisture are alternately performed by heat exchangers 61 and 62 by switching the refrigerant circulation of the refrigerant circuit 60 formed by connecting a compressor 63, an expansion valve 65, and the two heat exchangers 61 and 62 carrying adsorbents capable of adsorbing and desorbing moisture for performing a refrigerating cycle. A liquid storage device 66 absorbing excessive refrigerant when the refrigerant circulation is switched in a high pressure state is installed in a high pressure line normally brought in into a high pressure state by a directional control circuit 72. Also, the humidity controller comprises a circulation switching part 91 switching the refrigerant circulation after the fans of the heat exchangers 61 and 62 used as condensers are stopped for a specified time. Thus, since the excessive liquid refrigerant is not interposed in a low pressure line switched in a low pressure state, the inflow of the liquid refrigerant into the compressor 63 can be prevented.
