PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a valve having a higher hardness and higher impact resistance, and its production method, and a power generation plant and members for the valve using the same. SOLUTION: The valve has a valve body and a valve box and one kind selected from a cobalt-based alloy member with a chromium carbide dispersed into a base, a nickel-based alloy member, and an iron-based alloy member is formed on valve seat surfaces sliding each other.
