PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bicycle simulation apparatus which realizes a simulated ride with more presence by taking rotational positions of pedals and cranks into consideration. SOLUTION: A bicycle simulation apparatus 10 has a steering angle sensor 50 which detects the steering angle of a handlebar 28, a monitor 14 which displays a scenery based upon a simulated ride speed and the steering angle of the handlebar 28, and a crank position detection part 48 which detects rotational positions of the cranks 36L and 36R. The crank position detection part 48 has detected projections 130L and 130R on a crank shaft 34, and a left approach sensor 132L and a right approach sensor 132R. A warning part of a main control part gives a warning when it is judged that the steering angle exceeds a prescribed left or right steering quantity during a simulated ride and when it is judged that a crank in the operating direction of the handlebar 28 based upon the steering angle faces down on the basis of the crank position detection part.
