PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a camera system or the like with which copying at desired magnification can be easily performed, regardless of the difference of picture size between film being a copying object and an imaging part or the kind of a lens to be used. SOLUTION: The camera system is equipped with the imaging part 101 acquiring image information, a lens barrel 200 provided on the subject F side of the imaging part 101; a focal distance information detecting part 203 detecting the focal distance information of the lens barrel 200; a distance information detecting part 304 detecting a distance to the subject F from the front focus of the lens barrel 200 in focusing; a screen size ratio arithmetic calculating part 106 arithmetically calculating the size ratio of the size of the subject F projected onto the imaging surface of the imaging part 101 to the size of the imaging surface, based on the focal distance information, the distance information and the size of the imaging part 101 in photographing the preset subject F having prescribed shape; and an output part 105 outputting information concerning the size ratio in accordance, with the output from the screen size ratio arithmetic calculating part 106.
