PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tool for conveyance and a conveyance method for conveying a cylindrical high pressure gas vessel to a forklift simply and safely. SOLUTION: This tool for conveyance provided with a vessel support part supporting a peripheral barrel part of the cylindrical high pressure gas vessel laid horizontally while it is positioned from a lower side by, for example, a positioning part and a fork supporting face supported on a surface of a claw part capable of elevating and lowering freely that the forklift has is mounted on the high pressure gas vessel to convey it by the forklift. In this case, the forklift can convey the high pressure gas vessel simply and the high pressure gas vessel does not fall down and drop, thereby realizing safety. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
