PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rubber composition for a tire tread, having an improved wet performance and reduced rolling resistance compatible with each other. SOLUTION: This rubber composition for the tire tread contains a styrene-butadiene rubber having a vinyl content of≥40% and a rubber component comprising 5-40 wt% of an acrylonitrile-butadiene rubber.
