摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control method of a 4-wheel drive vehicle having a speed increasing mechanism capable of exactly controlling the switch between direct connection and speed increase. SOLUTION: The control method of the 4-wheel drive vehicle has front wheels as main driving wheels always connected to a driving source, rear wheels as driven wheels capable of adjusting the amount of drive torque, and the speed increasing mechanism capable of switching the rear wheel side between the direct connection state and the speed increase state with respect to the front wheel side. The control method can control the speed increasing mechanism to be switched to the speed increasing state according to the travel state.
