PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular air-conditioner enhancing heating performance when an outside air temperature is low, and also to provide a method for controlling the same. SOLUTION: The vehicular air-conditioner 1 comprises a temperature sensor 11 to detect temperature T2 of refrigerant at an outlet of a sub gas cooler 6, and an AC amplifier 20 to store one control line in which the opening of an expansion valve is increased according to a temperature rise of refrigerant, and to control the opening of the expansion valve according to the control line. The AC amplifier 20 decreases the opening of the expansion valve 9 according to the temperature drop of refrigerant detected by the temperature sensor 11 during the heating operation. Since the pressure on the refrigerant outlet side of the sub gas cooler 6, the heating performance is enhanced when the outside air temperature is low. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
