The carrier (10) for a target disk (13) has a flat plate (11). At least two reinforcing elements (12) are provided along the vertical sides of the plate. The reinforcing elements ensure that the plate is stable, and does not vibrate in the holder. They also ensure that the plate remains stable when pierced by a bullet holes.
