<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance productivity at the time of double-sided printing in an image forming device which adds a discharge member discharging the sheet provided on an image forming device body and can mount an optional discharge member. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming device has a main body discharge tray (TRh) which is provided on the image forming device body (U1), and has image recorded sheet to be discharged, and an optional discharge member (28) which discharges the sheet passed through an optional carrying path to an optional discharge tray (TRh1) disposed above the main body discharge tray (TRh). The image forming device is equipped with an optional discharge device (U6) detachably mounted above a main body discharge member (R1), a sheet reversing path (SH1) which carries the sheet with image recorded on its one side to an image recording position (Q3) in an upside-down state when performing image recording on the both sides of the sheet, and the main body discharge member (R1) which discharges the sheet recorded on both sides to the main body discharge tray (TRh) while a counter-rotating optional discharge member (28) carries the sheet recorded on one side to the sheet reversing path (SH1). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
