<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an input device that does not need to design and manufacture separately a first operation part to be operated for generating a switch command signal and a second operation part to be operated for generating a command signal corresponding to a sliding operation according to the sliding operation. <P>SOLUTION: This input device is a hand rest table comprising a control means 6 set so as to form first operation surfaces 3a-3c and a second operation surface 3d on the same sheet member 3 surface as the first operation part and the second operation part, to generate the switch command signal when the positional information output from an electrical capacitance detection means 4 is included in the first operation surfaces 3a-3c, to calculate travel distance of a human body when the positional information indicates a position included in the second operation surface 3d, and to generate the command signal corresponding to the travel distance. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
