PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing toner excellent in durability and fixing properties. SOLUTION: The method includes steps of: (a) preparing a dispersion liquid (A) of resin particles (A) having a large diameter; (b) preparing a dispersion liquid (B) of resin particles (B) having a small diameter; (c) mixing the dispersion liquid (A) and the dispersion liquid (B) to deposit the resin particles (B) on the resin particles (A); aggregating and heating the deposited particles, obtained in the step (c) and further cleaning and drying the particles. Preferably, the both resin particles are prepared to satisfy the relation 1/10≥B/A, wherein A is the particle size of the resin particles (A) and B is the particle size of the resin particles (B).
