PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packing box for a photosensitive recording material which is superior in cost benefit, light-shielding effect and assemblability and capable of effectively preventing leakage of light from an inlet part of an inner packing bag. SOLUTION: The packing box for a photosensitive recording material consists of a body part 3 capable of holding a photosensitive recording material M housed in a light-shielding inner packing bag 143 with an inlet part 145, and a lid body part 5 formed at one end of the body part in which a takeout hole for the inner packing bag is formed. The lid body part 5 has a movable lid part 125, which is movable between the closed state and open state of the takeout hole, and a fold-maintaining means 123 to maintain the folded state of the inlet part of the inner packing bag 143, while the movable lid part 125 is closed.
