PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information sharing system capable of sharing information easily and efficiently between an information provider and a user. SOLUTION: Information (contents 131) provided by the information provider is constituted by an electronic brochure data 132 which an information user browses and an electronic brochure index 133 to be its retrieval key and is stored in a server. The electronic brochure index 133 stores the retrieval key by standardizing it regardless of the type (category) of business of the information provider, so that provision/retrieval of the information is easy. Also, as the electronic brochure index 133 stores position information of contents, the information user can specify a position to retrieve the contents. Moreover, as items related to time, day, position, amount of money are standardized, the information user can easily search for desired information by using the each of items as a retrieval key independently.
