PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a butterfly valve 1 provided with good sealability as compared with a conventional one. SOLUTION: A bearing 4 is press-fitted in a through hole 2B in a radial direction of a housing 2 and a seal means 6 is energized toward the bearing 4 by a coil spring 7. A seal means 6 consists of a plate 16 on which the coil spring 7 is abutted and three annular seal member 15 inside thereof.
