PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing vanes for a compressor capable of increasing productivity, needless to say cost-reduction by simple working processes in which a coil of a steel sheet of a fixed width, and a round bar are used as materials. SOLUTION: The vane-manufacturing method comprises a slitting process for longitudinally slitting a coil of a fixed-width and a steel sheet in an appropriate width, a roll forming or drawing process for forming curved parts or orthogonal faces on both end-faces of the slitted steel sheet, a recoiling process for coiling the steel sheet subjected to the roll forming or the drawing process or a material-cutting process for cutting into a material of a fixed length, a press process for cutting and grooving the material subjected to the recoiling process or the cutting process in conformity with the length of the vane, a lathe-turning process for precisely working the periphery or the grooved part of the product subjected to the press process, and a working process for sequentially heat-treating and polishing the products subjected to the lath-turning process.
