PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adhesive coater of muntins for building panels and an adhesive application method having flexibility to various faces with different dimensions, and usable to these faces in common. SOLUTION: Adhesive coating guns 77, 80 are arranged on both sides of a work sending line to which the muntins 6 made of channel members are sent by work sending means 60, 61. An adhesive is sprayed by compressed air from the guns 77, 80 in a spiral locus with a spiral diameter gradually getting large toward a flange 10, the face part of the muntin 6. For a muntin with a high flange size, a control device 101 regulates a regulator 96 to increase the pressure of compressed air to enlarge the spiral diameter of the adhesive adhering on the flange.
