PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a car seat that can control a degradation of comfort in sitting caused by a duct installed underneath a seat cushion. SOLUTION: This car seat is provided with a seat cushion and a seat back that are composed by covering the surface of a seat pad by a skin material, a multiple number of vent holes that penetrate the seat pad and reach the surface of the skin material, a multiple number of air exhaust holes projecting from the surface of a duct and are connected to the vent holes, and an air blower that pressurizes and sends air inside the car to the vent holes through the duct and the air exhaust holes. A member with an elasticity modulus higher than that of the seat pad which composes the seat cushion is interpositioned between the seat cushion and the duct. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
