The utility vehicle (10) is equipped with a shovel (13) moved by an actuator and hinged to the chassis frame (11). The vehicle runs on four wheels (12). The cab (15) is mounted on a hinge (19,20) on top of the chassis, engaging lugs at the lower front corner. An actuator toward the rear of the cab tilts it forward and a safety prop (21) may be put in place. The engine cover (16) is hinged (17) to the rear of the cab and may be held in its open position by a prop. An exhaust pipe (37) on the engine cover engages on an exhaust pipe and silencer on the engine (18).
