<p>Extension that can be adjusted in length and fixed by a fixing screw (7) for a half inch drive ratchet comprises an extension body (1) consisting of a hexagon socket tube provided on its closed side with a square hole (5) serving as the attachment point for the ratchet. The opposite-lying side of the tube is open and receives a removable hexagon insert bit mandrel (2). The hexagon insert bit mandrel has on its outer-lying side a square holder (4) for a nut held by a fixing ball (3). A series of recesses (6) is provided on one of the six flat sides of the mandrel. After fixing the desired length, the mandrel, with the aid of the fixing screw whose outer thread engages in the inner thread (8) of the body, is fixed in one of the recesses to create an extension. The entire construction is made of tool steel.</p> |
