A process for producing a concrete material from freshly mixed concrete sludge as a raw material. There is provided a process for producing a concrete material from a slurry of freshly mixed concrete sludge obtained by separating of a coarse aggregate and fine aggregate from a waste material from freshly mixed concrete, which process is characterized by including at least the comminution step of carrying out wet comminution of the slurry under a condition of >=60 wt.% water content into a product containing microparticles of <=10 mum average diameter.
