<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical recording medium whose manufacturing yield is high and which has a high waveform rate higher than that of an optical recording medium having a reflection layer consisting of gold and a reflection layer formed by using silver as a main component and to provide its manufacturing method. <P>SOLUTION: In the optical recording medium, a recording layer 2 is provided on the surface of a substrate 1 and the reflection layer 3, an adhesive layer 4 and a sticking substrate 5 are successively provided on the recording layer 2. The recording layer 2 consists essentially of an organic dye. The reflection layer 3 contains ≥90 atom% silver as a main component. The reflection layer 3 contains 1 to 10 atom% at least one element of Si, Ti, Mg, Mn, P, S and O, contains 0.3 to 10 atom% N, or contains 0.2 to 10 atom% O. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
