PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a synchronization establishing circuit for establishing synchronization between a base station and a terminal at a low cost in a beacon network.
SOLUTION: A beacon comparison value register 141 for storing a beacon interval as a comparison value BCD, a beacon counter 142 for counting timer clocks, and a beacon comparator 143 for outputting an interrupt signal BI when the output value of the register 141 coincides with the count value of the counter 142 are provided as a timer in a terminal. When the first beacon is received, a control part in the terminal makes the counter 142 start counting, and when the next beacon is received, the control part stores the counted value of the beacon counter 142 in the register 141. Since a beacon interval is measured not by using beacon interval information stored in the beacon but by using a timer clock in the terminal, clock accuracy between the base station and the terminal does not have to be strictly matched with each other and then this system becomes inexpensive.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
