摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a supercharging device for an internal combustion engine which materializes further improvement of a supercharging efficiency at the time of cylinder deactivation. <P>SOLUTION: A supercharging device for an multicylinder internal combustion engine 1 which is of cylinder deactivation type by which combustion in a part of cylinders 2 can be stopped, is equipped with a non-deactivation side supercharging device 10a arranged on an intake passage 5 on a cylinder non-deactivation side, a deactivation side supercharging device 10b arranged on the intake passage 5 on a cylinder deactivation side, and an electric motor 13 for accelerating supercharging of the non-deactivation side supercharging device. The intake passage 5 on a cylinder non-deactivation side and the intake passage 5 on a cylinder deactivation side have a partly joined part 5a in the downstream side of respective supercharging devices 10. The device is equipped with a supercharged air leakage preventing means 12 (a cylinder deactivation side throttle valve) for preventing supercharged air leakage to the cylinder deactivation side through the medium of the joined part 5a when stopping combustion in a cylinder 2 on the cylinder deactivation side and accelerating supercharging to a cylinder 2 on the cylinder non-deactivation side by driving of the electric motor 13. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
