<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that a new consideration is needed about the speedup of the entire process for realizing a stereoscopic display. <P>SOLUTION: A camera location determining unit 136 determines the location of a main camera in the object space of the present frame, based on a value Z acquired in the just previous frame and a user's correct parallax. After a projection process, a parallax image generator 142 generates a parallax image, based on a viewpoint image. The value Z is acquired by at least one main camera located by the camera location determining unit 136 in the just previous frame.
