<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optimum device which is easy to use and which enables the point of intervention treatment to be directly monitored, even during vessel dilatation if necessary, without the tedious process of changing various catheters. <P>SOLUTION: In a device for implementing a cutting balloon intervention treatment with monitoring by intravascular ultrasound method (IVUS) by means of a cutting balloon catheter with an inflatable balloon arranged in a front end range holding axially extended blades, the cutting balloon catheter is integrated with an IVUS catheter and incorporated in one unit. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
