<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging unit capable of conducting photometry whether a mirror unit is in a first state or a second state. <P>SOLUTION: The imaging unit includes: an imaging device 106; a finder optical system which makes it possible to observe a subject image; the mirror unit driven after switching between the first state in which a luminous flux from a photographic lens 103 is reflected towards the finder optical system and the second state in which the luminous flux is made to reach the imaging device; a photometric means 144 for conducting photometry using a luminous flux reflected from the mirror unit; and a control means 135 for conducting the photometry by using an output signal from the photometric means when the mirror unit is in the first state and for conducting the photometry by using an output signal from the imaging device when it is in the second state. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
