<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem of the drop of the power factor to a load ripple and the problem that the ripple of a cycle of a commercial power source is superposed on a secondary DC output voltage compatibly, regarding a power circuit which performs a power factor improvement by a power regeneration system. <P>SOLUTION: A power factor improving means is equipped with a control transformer PRT where a high-frequency inductor serves as a controlled winding NR. The inductance of the controlled winding NR can be controlled to vary according to the level of a load current, that is, the load ripple. Hereby, it becomes possible to control a power factor value improved by the power factor improving means to be constant with respect to the load ripple. Moreover, the magnetic flux density of an insulated converter transformer is set not higher than a specified value so that it may be a continuous mode which does not create a period when a secondary rectified current becomes always discontinuous as secondary rectifying action, regardless of the ripple of a secondary DC output voltage, that is, the load ripple or the level fluctuation of commercial AC power(AC input voltage). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
