INDUCTION HEATING ROLLER DEVICE AND IMAGE FORMATION DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an eddy-current loss type induction heating roller device having high heating efficiency; and to provide an image formation device equipped with it. SOLUTION: This induction heating roller device is equipped with: a heating roller HR for generating heat by an induction current; a plurality of induction coils ICs adjacent to a heating area along the longitudinal direction of the heating roller HR while facing to it, installed so that their respective axes are nearly perpendicular the heating area of the heating roller and are substantially formed with air cores; and a high-frequency power source HFS for supplying high-frequency power to the plurality of induction coils ICs. Another induction heating roller device of this application is equipped with: a heating roller HR; an induction coil IC which faces to the heating area in its longitudinal direction, and in which its axis is nearly perpendicular to a heat generation layer; a ferromagnetic body FM facing to the induction coil IC by interposing the heat generation layer 2 of the heating roller; and a high-frequency power source HFS for supplying high-frequency power to the induction coil IC.
