PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pressure control method and a device of a conduit network capable of accurately controlling pressure of a conduit network even in the position where a pressure meter and a flowmeter are not installed. SOLUTION: A plurality of gas pressure governors 31, 32, 33, etc., a plurality of pressure meters 35, 36, etc. and a plurality of flowmeters 38, 39, etc. are provided to control the pressure in the conduit network 1 laid for supplying city gas, etc. to customers 11, 12, 13, etc. distributed in an area. A host computer 21 is made to recognize position information and map information of them as map data. Based on the result of the measurement of the pressures and flow amounts and the result of the analysis of the conduit network, proper settings necessary for making pressures and flow amounts appropriate at the conduit network 1 where improperly controlled portions where control is improperly conducted such as pressures being out of the prescribed range are detected are obtained by analysis of the conduit network for each of the gas pressure governors 31, 32, 33, etc., and the settings of the gas pressure governors 31, 32, 33, etc. are changed to the proper settings obtained.
