PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inexpensively provide a trowel for a plasterer, which has proper usability and high quality, and which enables the degree of deflection of a back metal, necessary for the simple working of the back metal, to be obtained without a change in the thickness of the trowel for the plasterer. SOLUTION: In this trowel 1 for the plasterer, the back metal 2, where a column base 5 is erected, is mounted at the center of a top surface of a trowel plate 1 via an adhesive 3, and a cut 6, which passes through a plate surface, is provided in an appropriate area from a front end of the back metal 3 in such a manner as to have a planar stretch.
