PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composition which contains an oily phase, which is stable over time with a view to a commercial use, and which offers skin-tensioning properties that are sufficient to visibly smooth out wrinkles and fine lines as soon as it is applied. SOLUTION: The composition comprising a multiple water/oil/water emulsion comprising an internal aqueous phase, an oil phase and an external aqueous phase encloses at least one synthetic polymer as a tensioning agent present at least in the internal aqueous phase of the emulsion. The use of the composition for cosmetic use for smoothing out the wrinkles and the fine lines, and for recovering the tension of the skin is also provided. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
