PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately and precisely measure the reduction of a thickness and the presence of any damage caused by the oxidation deterioration of a structure, and a degree thereof from a remote site by an ultrasonic wave, while holding stably a contact medium between an ultrasonic sensor and an inspected face for a long period. SOLUTION: This ultrasonic flaw detection system of the present invention has a container 15 attached to an inspected object 12, a contact medium supply means 16 for supplying the contact medium 14 into the container 15, the ultrasonic sensor 11 stored in the container 15, and contacting with the surface of the inspection object 12, a cylinder device 17 provided in the container 15 to bring the ultrasonic contact with the surface of the inspection object 12, and a stirring means 30 provided in an operation rod 28 extended from the cylinder device 17, and the contact medium 14 stored in the container 15 is convection-moved by the stirring means 30.
