WASTE WATER TREATMENT APPARATUS AND WASTE WATER TREATMENT METHOD USING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waste water treatment apparatus capable of removing a persistent COD component in high efficiency from organic waste water although the salt content concentration is kept original and to provide a treatment method using the waste water treatment apparatus. SOLUTION: This waste water treatment apparatus is constituted by arranging a separation membrane unit 2 in an electrolytic cell 1. Waste water A is supplied to the electrolytic cell 1 and electrolyzed by electrodes 3 so that the persistent COD component or the like in the waste water A is decomposed/removed and electrolyzed water D is obtained. The obtained electrolyzed water D is separated into salt content-concentrated water E and salt content-removed treated water B by membrane separation in the separation membrane unit 2. The salt content-removed treated water B is discharged to the outside and the salt content-concentrated water E is returned to the electrolyzed water D in the electrolytic cell 1.
