PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image storage display system, reducing the time of user's or service engineer's for adjusting the compression rate of an image by automatically optimizing the compression rate. SOLUTION: This image storage display system includes: an image storage server including an image file storage part storing image data; and an image display terminal connected to the image storage server through a network to display an image transmitted from the image storage server. The image storage server includes: an information management part for obtaining and managing the information on the system including at least one of the environmental information and operational information of the system; and an image file compression part for setting the optimum compression rate on the basis of the information to compress the image, and storing the same in the image file storage part.
