Cutting disc has cutting segments separated by radial slits terminated by round bores and with countersunk profiles to reduce stress

An improved design of cutting disc, especially for masonry and other hard materials, has cutting segments (2) around the rim separated by short radial slots (3) for cleaning debris and for spreading cooling fluid. The inside ends of the slots are terminated by round bores (4) through the disc and with countersunk profiles at both faces of the disc. The countersunk profiles reduce stress and reduce the risk of cracking especially resulting from micro impulses generated by the cutting action.
