FIELD: restoration of parts of housing of automatic coupler, possibly repairing automatic couplers of railway road cars, special equipment and systems for maintaining railway roads. ^ SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of heating p[in of lock holder till temperature 600-800°C and placing annular form on it; using annular form whose height and inner diameter correspond to those of pin; then applying to center of heated pin pressure whose value is no less than 25 MPa for pressing metal towards walls of annular form; removing annular form and surfacing end of pin. ^ EFFECT: simplified restoration process, lowered losses of high-cost parts. ^ 5 cl, 3 dwg, 1 ex |
