INK-JET INK COMPOSITION CURABLE WITH ACTINIC RADIATION, IMAGE-FORMING METHOD USING THE SAME AND INK-JET RECORDING APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink-jet ink composition curable with actinic radiation, having excellent curability and capable of stably recording a high-quality image and provide a method for forming an image by using the composition and an ink-jet recording apparatus.

SOLUTION: The ink-jet ink composition curable with actinic radiation at least contains a photopolymerizable compound, a photoacid generator and a coloring material. At least one of the photopolymerizable compound is a cation-polymerizable monomer and the composition contains an alcohol having an aromatic ring in an amount of 0.1-20 mass% based on the total mass of the ink-jet ink composition curable with actinic radiation.
