<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shift register capable of preventing the fluctuation of the voltage of a node for controlling an output buffer part caused by the parasitic capacitor of a thin-film transistor, and its driving method. <P>SOLUTION: This shift register is provided with a pull-up transistor (T5) for supplying a first clock signal (C1) for controlling many stages by a first node (Q) to an output line (Out), a pull-down transistor (T6) for supplying a first driving voltage controlled by a second node (QB) to the output line, a control unit (10) for controlling the first and second nodes to counter each other, and a compensation capacitor connected between the input lines of the first node and the second clock signal to compensate for a fluctuation amount caused by parasitic capacitors (CDG and CGS) among the first node, the first clock signal and the pull-up transistor. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
