<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a food packaging method that is versatile for the shapes of food in order to efficiently packaging each rice ball in a bag. <P>SOLUTION: The food packaging method includes the step of putting each triangular rice ball 401 into a turn table 1 and bringing the rice ball into contact with a wrapping sheet 200 from below, the step of ejecting the rice ball together with the wrapping sheet by an ejecting block 5, the step of wrapping the rice ball with the wrapping sheet during the ejection, the step of folding sheet ears one on the other, thereby forming gussets 302 of the thus formed bag 300, the step of welding the gussets 302, and the step of automatically sealing the open edge of the bag. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
