FOOD FREEZER AND FOOD THAWING APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To refrigerate and thaw foods always in a good state by applying a magnetic field thereto. SOLUTION: This freezer 21 forms the foods into frozen foods by performing a freezing step in which the foods are frozen at a pre-determined freezing temperature for the foods. In this case, the alternating magnetic field is applied from a magnetic field generating coil 21e to the foods in at least a part of the freezing step. The refrigeration chamber 22 performs a storage step in which the frozen foods are frozen and stored at a storage temperature pre-determined for the frozen foods. Then, the alternating magnetic field is applied from the magnetic field generating coil 22e to the frozen foods in the storage step selectively according to the types of the frozen foods.
