PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a one-operation type connector capable of connecting pipes well and always capable of connecting pipes in the normal condition. SOLUTION: This connector has structure for shrinking a compression ring 3 by separating a diameter enlarging piece 4 in a tip of a pipe 100 and for pushing a pipe wall body to the peripheral surface of a nipple 21 with elastic force of the compression ring 3 when connecting pipes. A part of the diameter enlarging piece 4 abutting on the compression ring 3 is machined to be tapered along pinching surfaces 3a and 3a of the compression ring 3. A lower end of the diameter enlarging piece 4 is provided with a leg part 4a extended along the outer circumferential direction of the nipple 21, while opening outside. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
