PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a traverser device for improving construction efficiency, shortening a construction period and reducing construction cost by storing many carrying trucks in a narrow space at a time and carrying out drilled sediment in a short time. SOLUTION: A plurality of rails 24 on which the carrying trucks are arranged parallel to a tunnel 12 in a vertical shaft 10 are movable in the direction perpendicular to the tunnel 12. Each rail 24 is supported on a rail supporting face movably in the direction perpendicular to the tunnel 12. The rails 24 are movably connected to each other via looped conveyor chains.
