PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultraviolet-curable low-refractive index material composition which exhibits good curability even with a small quantity of irradiated light, exhibits excellent scratch resistance, coatability and durability when cured, and gives a cured film substantially transparent and excellent in color tones, and an antireflection film. SOLUTION: The ultraviolet-curable low-refractive index material composition comprises an ethylenically unsaturated group-containing fluoropolymer, a polyfunctional (meth)acrylate compound bearing at least two (meth)acryloyl groups and/or a fluorine-containing (meth)acrylate compound bearing at least one (meth)acryloyl group, and a photopolymerization initiator having a light-absorption coefficient of at least 5×10<SP>2</SP>ml/(g×cm) at a wavelength of 365 nm and a light-absorption coefficient of at most 1×10<SP>2</SP>ml/(g×cm) at a wavelength of 405 nm, where the content of the photopolymerization initiator is 0.01-15 wt% based the whole composition.
