PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of controlling a vehicular seat with a footrest device and an ottoman device which has excellent usability, in a vehicular seat equipped with the footrest device and the ottoman device separately. SOLUTION: In the method of controlling the vehicular seat 1 having separately the ottoman device 4 provided at a front part of a seat cushion 2, and the footrest device 5 provided in a front side position apart from the seat cushion 2, a controlling means 70 receiving one signal actuates an actuator 4 for the ottoman device 4 to develop an ottoman main body 40 toward a lower thigh portion Ha of a seated person. Then, the controlling means 70 actuates an actuator 51 for the footrest device 5 to upwardly move a footrest main body 50 from a low position lower than a heel Hb of the seated person toward the heel Hb.
