摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid ejection device and a droplet ejection control method for preventing deposition interference between dots formed so as to be mutually overlapped, thereby obtaining preferable dots, and for achieving high-speed droplet ejection. SOLUTION: When dot rows are formed along a recording paper transporting direction (sub-scanning-direction), continuous droplets are deflected in the ejection direction of the ink such that the deposition positions of the ink droplets are shifted in the recording paper transporting direction by the integer number of the pitches between the dots of the dot rows. Adjacent dots are formed only when ink droplets are deposited immediately below nozzles at timing t1, ink droplets are shifted toward the upstream side by the amount corresponding to two dots at timing t2, ink droplets are shifted toward the downstream side by the amount corresponding to one dot at timing t3, and ink droplets are shifted toward the upstream side by the amount corresponding to one dot at timing t4. That is, since time corresponding to three cycles elapses until adjacent dots are formed and permeation of the previously deposited ink droplets advances, deposition interference does not occur even when the subsequently ejected ink droplets are deposited without waiting permeation of the previously deposited ink droplets, thereby maintaining the printing speed.
